This little fellow is another of my sights from Glentanar. We heard him and his pals for quite some time before we saw him. He was difficult to spot at first, but quite bold, allowing me to get get reasonably close for a couple of shots. I got pretty dusty lying along the path, but I feel it was worth it.

Then the Grasshopper came with a Jerk and a Spring,
Very long was his Leg, though but short was his Wing;
He took but three Leaps, and was soon out of Sight,
Then chirp'd his own Praises the rest of the Night.
